Eastspring Investments announces appointment of Head of Global Financial Institutions & Intermediaries

This newly created role will focus on Eastspring’s coverage of global banks and intermediaries across the firm’s distribution network

SINGAPORE (9 July 2025) – Eastspring Investments (“Eastspring”), the USD256 billion¹ asset management business of Prudential plc (“Prudential”), today announced the appointment of Szu Yi Chin as Head of Global Financial Institutions (GFI) & Intermediaries, effective 1 September 2025. Based in Singapore, Szu Yi will report to Salman Haider, Chief Distribution Officer, Head of ASEAN, Eastspring Investments and CEO of Eastspring Singapore.

In this newly created role, Szu Yi will lead Eastspring’s coverage of global banks and intermediaries across the firm’s distribution network. She will also collaborate closely with Eastspring teams to drive innovation in retail product strategies that address evolving market needs.

Szu Yi brings over two decades of experience in the Wealth and Intermediary space. Prior to Eastspring, Szu Yi was Head of Wealth for Asia Pacific at Schroders. She also served as Country Head for Taiwan at Fidelity International (FIL), and Head of Intermediary and Private Banking Sales for Southeast Asia at FIL and Deutsche Bank AG.

Szu Yi holds a Bachelor of Business from Nanyang Technological University and is both a CFA and CAIA Charterholder.
