Here is why we continue to go from strength to strength.

Why Eastspring won the Asia Fund House of the Year at AsianInvestor Awards (Again)

Asia Fund House of the Year is a competitive category in the annual AsianInvestor Awards and goes to the Asia-based asset management firm with the best combination of business strategy, execution, investment performance, asset gathering, innovation and success. Eastspring’s third win of the award in four years (2018, 2017 and 2015) recognises its continuing strong growth, profitable results and consistent Investment performance.

Over the first half of 2017, our AUM grew to USD 170 bn, a 23% increase over the same period of the previous year. 71% of Eastspring funds outperformed last year, with 60% having outperformed on a 3-year basis and contributed to our strong foothold in the region. With a presence in 10 Asian markets, we strengthened our distribution network in the region, this past year adding a strategic a partnership with Kasikorn Asset Management to launch a jointly managed Asian fixed income fund in Thailand.

Importantly, in China, Eastspring made headway on executing its strategy, successfully establishing an investment management Wholly Foreign-Owned Enterprise (IM WFOE).

Another key milestone of the year was Eastspring becoming a signatory to the UN-supported Principles of Responsible Investment in February, underlining its credentials in Responsible Investing. In terms of technology, we made big strides in adopting industry-leading operating and internal system models leaving us well-placed to grow into a successful international asset manager.

Past performance of the manager is not necessarily indicative of the future or likely performance.
