Japan has always been a corporate, not an economic, revival story. With ongoing corporate reforms, investors will discover that many Japanese companies are mispriced and valued much lower versus global peers, which suggest more upside potential.

FAQ
A Japan equity fund typically invests in companies poised to benefit from structural tailwinds – ranging from accelerating corporate reforms to a potential shift towards reflation and real wage growth in Japan. The Eastspring Investments - Japan Dynamic Fund (“the Fund”) seeks for long-term capital growth by applying a disciplined valuation approach to identify opportunities in Japan.
The Manager screens a wide universe to build a concentrated portfolio of Japanese companies typically trading on low valuations relative to their history and the market. It applies disciplined and rigorous fundamental analysis during the selection process to ensure a high level of conviction around the valuation of companies held in the portfolio.
The Fund may be suitable for investors who seek long-term capital growth, are comfortable with the risks and greater volatility of an equity fund invested in a single market, and accept that their capital may be at risk and that the value of their investment and derived income may fall as well as rise.
As the Fund’s investments are concentrated in a single country, the value of the fund may be more volatile. It may be exposed to market, currency, and other risks related specifically to Japan, and its value may be more susceptible to adverse economic, political or regulatory events affecting the country. Other risks include equity, currency, counterparty, liquidity, derivatives, and securities lending risk.
The Fund has a maximum initial sales charge of 5% and annual management fee of 1.50% p.a. for Class A, A (hedged), AE (hedged), AJ, AJDM, AS and AS (hedged) shares. You can refer to the prospectus for fees on other share classes. The initial sales charge may vary at the discretion of the distributor in accordance with its terms and conditions.
