SINGAPORE (10 October 2018) - Eastspring Investments (“Eastspring”), the USD 182 billion Asian investment management arm of Prudential plc, announced today two senior appointments to its Multi Asset Solutions team. Jason Hepner joins as a Director – Senior Portfolio Manager and Mary Nicola has been appointed Director - G10 FX and Asian FI Strategist.

Both will report to industry veteran Colin Graham who joined Eastspring as Chief Investment Officer, Multi Asset Solutions, in January this year with a mandate to grow the team and the product offering.

Commenting on the appointments, Mr Graham said, “We welcome Jason and Mary who bring considerable international experience to our team, and will enable us to expand our multi asset investment solutions to meet the diverse needs of both our Asian and global clients.”

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Jason will be responsible for the investment performance of allocated multi asset strategies and enhancing portfolio construction.

Most recently, Jason worked with Standard Life Investments (now Standard Life Aberdeen), having joined the firm in 1997. During his time at Standard Life, he held senior investment roles in the emerging markets and multi asset teams, in addition to being one of the original members of the team that managed the firm’s flagship Global Absolute Return Strategy fund.

Jason holds a Master of Science degree in Investment Analysis from the University of Stirling and a Master of Arts (Honours) in Politics from the University of Edinburgh. He is a CFA Charterholder.

Mary will be responsible for global macro research, and will contribute to investment performance by generating investment ideas, with a focus on G10 FX and Asian rates.

With more than 10 years of experience as an economist and FX strategist, Mary joins Eastspring from Aviva Investors in Singapore. She has also worked at Standard Chartered Bank in Dubai and Hong Kong and BNP Paribas in New York.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from Columbia University-SIPA and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Political Science from Rutgers College.

The firm manages a number of multi-asset funds, including the Global Market Navigator Fund, which is focused on growth, the Global Multi Asset Income Plus Growth Fund, centred on capital preservation, and the Monthly Income Plan, that provides investors with regular income and capital growth.
