Eastspring Investments appoints Ghislain Périssé as Head of Insurance Solutions

Newly created role strengthens Eastspring's ability to support insurers across Asia with tailored investment solutions

SINGAPORE (25 August 2026) –Eastspring Investments (“Eastspring”), the USD269 billion¹ Asia-headquartered asset management business of Prudential plc, today announced the appointment of Ghislain Périssé as Head of Insurance Solutions, effective 24 August 2026. Ghislain will be based in Singapore, and will report to Salman Haider, Chief Distribution Officer, Head of ASEAN, Eastspring Investments and CEO of Eastspring Singapore.

In this newly created role, Ghislain will lead the development and commercialisation of Eastspring’s insurance solutions capability. He will focus on delivering tailored solutions that help insurers meet their capital, balance-sheet and investment objectives, including asset-liability management, capital efficiency, income generation and sustainable investing outcomes.

Ghislain has over two decades of experience across investments and insurance. He joins Eastspring from Fidelity International, where he was Global Head of Insurance Solutions for EMEA and APAC, responsible for developing the firm’s insurance asset management business and advising insurers on investment strategy, capital optimisation, product design and regulatory considerations.

He has led multidisciplinary teams of actuaries, investment specialists, risk professionals and regulatory experts across markets, working closely with insurers, regulators and industry bodies. Prior to Fidelity International, he held senior roles at Schroders and AXA Investment Managers, where he helped build insurance solutions capabilities. Earlier in his career, he held quantitative research, structured solutions and business development roles at Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch and Société Générale Asset Management Alternative Investments.
