Eastspring Investments Appoints Azril Ikram as Head of Digital Proposition and Distribution

Newly created role strengthens Eastspring’s digital proposition and distribution capabilities across Asia

SINGAPORE (26 October 2026) – Eastspring Investments (“Eastspring”), the USD291 billion asset management business of Prudential plc (“Prudential”), today announced the appointment of Azril Ikram as Head of Digital Proposition and Distribution, effective 26 October 2026. Based in Singapore, Azril will report to Salman Haider, Chief Distribution Officer, Head of ASEAN and Chief Executive Officer, Singapore.

In this newly created role, Azril will lead the development and execution of Eastspring’s digital proposition and distribution strategy across Asia. Working closely with the firm’s distribution and product teams, he will focus on building strategic digital partnerships, deepening engagement across key digital wealth platforms and ecosystems, and expanding access to Eastspring’s investment solutions through digital channels.

Azril’s combination of asset management, fintech and digital distribution expertise will be instrumental in strengthening our proposition, deepening strategic partnerships, and connecting more investors across Asia.”

Most recently, Azril was Global Lead Analyst at Franklin Templeton, where he helped advance digital distribution initiatives and contributed to investment solutions including tokenised funds and model portfolio offerings. Prior to that, he held roles at EY and Bank Negara Malaysia, and also led Corporate Strategy & New Ventures at Jirnexu, a Southeast Asian fintech group.

Azril holds a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a CFA charterholder.
