Prudential Singapore CEO Chan San San takes up new role at Eastspring Investments
Former Prudential Singapore CFO Andreas Rosenthal appointed Interim CEO of the Singapore operations
24 September 2026, Hong Kong – Prudential plc (“Prudential”), the leading Asian and African insurer, today announced that Chan San San, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (“Prudential Singapore”), is taking up a newly created role as Chief Partnership Officer at Eastspring Investments (“Eastspring”), Prudential plc’s asset management business, with effect from 28 September 2026. Based in Singapore, Ms Chan will report to Rajeev Mittal, Chief Executive Officer of Eastspring, and will join Eastspring's Executive Management Committee.
In this role, Ms Chan will lead efforts to strengthen collaboration between Prudential’s life insurance businesses and Eastspring, supporting the development of investment, wealth and retirement solutions for customers across Asia. The appointment reflects Prudential’s focus on deepening connectivity across its insurance and asset management capabilities to better serve customer needs and capture the long-term opportunities in the region.

Following Ms Chan’s move, Dr Andreas Rosenthal will act as Interim CEO of Prudential Singapore with effect from 28 September 2026, while the process to appoint a permanent CEO is under way.
Dr Rosenthal previously served as Chief Financial Officer of Prudential Singapore from 2018 to 2025, where he led key finance, actuarial, performance management, transformation, procurement, distribution compensation and analytics functions. He most recently held the role of Chief Enterprise Value Delivery Officer at Prudential plc, working with businesses and functions to strengthen strategic execution and enterprise value delivery across the organisation.
