Eastspring Investments’ Chief Investment Officer Virginie Maisonneuve has been invited to join the the IAMAC International Expert Advisory Committee.
The Committee was established to help strengthen China’s asset management industry by facilitating information exchange on areas including, governance, risk management, talent development and new technology. It is focused on building relationships between local and international companies and is composed of 26 leading experts from international companies which, between them, hold several trillion USD AUM.
The first IAMAC meeting took place on the sidelines of the IAMAC Asset Management Development Forum recently. As a founding member, Virginie emphasised the importance of collaboration and co-operation during the session, whilst also highlighting Eastspring’s responses to the challenges of China’s ageing population and the increased focus on ESG in investment strategies.
“I am honoured to have been selected as a member of this committee, which will drive crucial dialogue in the industry,” says Virginie. “I’m very much looking forward to working with my peers to address some of the greatest shared challenges we face.”
