Eastspring Investments, the asset management arm of Prudential Corporation Asia, is pleased to announce senior appointments within its Singapore retail team as part of a renewed sales and channel focus.
Ms Koh Hui-Jian has been appointed to the new position of Head of Retail Sales with responsibility for all retail sales in Hong Kong and Singapore and enhancing offshore sales across Asia. She will oversee the entry into the UK and Europe wholesale market and will report to Guy Strapp, Chief Executive of Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited. The Singapore office is Eastspring Investment’s regional hub and includes the business’ offshore investment management capabilities which will be sold into the UK and Europe.
Ms Koh has more than 17 years’ sales experience in the asset management industry. She joined Eastspring Investments Singapore in March 2011, as the Head of Retail Sales in Singapore and in 2012 was appointed Head of Retail Sales Singapore and Hong Kong.
Together with Ms Koh’s promotion to her new role, Eastspring Investments Singapore also announced that Ms Caron Ng would be promoted to the position of Head of Retail Sales for Singapore and will report to Ms Koh. Caron joined the business in May 2011 and previously held distribution roles in global asset management firms in Singapore.

Last month, Eastspring Investments announced plans to expand its fund distribution to the UK and Europe to capitalise on the increasing interest from global investors in the Asia growth story.
It was also announced that Beonca Yip who previously held the role of Head of Retail has left the organisation to pursue personal interests.
