Prior to Eastspring, Bernard worked in the investment banking industry, focusing on financial institutions. He spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, where he was a Managing Director and Co–Chief Operating Officer of Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) for the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and Head of China FIG. Bernard was responsible for clients in Greater China and South East Asia and co-managed a group of 50 APxJ FIG bankers.
