About Eastspring Vietnam

In Vietnam, Eastspring Investments Fund Management Limited Liability Company (“Eastspring Vietnam”) was established in May 2005. Eastspring Vietnam was formerly known as Prudential Vietnam Fund Management Limited Liability Company from its establishment until re-branding on 9 December 2011.

Eastspring Vietnam applies a long-term value-oriented investment philosophy to its investment funds and portfolios for both institutional and retail clients who are domiciled both offshore and onshore in Vietnam.

As the largest fund manager in the local market in term of AUM, Eastspring Vietnam’s assets under management is exceed VND 171 trillion (equivalent to USD 7.1 billion) as at 31 Dec 2023.

Since 1999 as part of Prudential Vietnam Assurance Company Limited and then since establishment, we have developed a local investment team on the ground in Vietnam with an established track record in managing Vietnamese fixed income, Vietnamese listed and OTC equities, Like any other Eastspring entity in Asia, Eastspring Vietnam also benefits from the global investment platform as part of Eastspring Investments.

Singapore

Established in 1994, the Singapore office serves as the global hub for Eastspring Investments’ asset management business. The award-winning investment teams manage a wide range of funds and mandates across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and quantitative solutions for individual and institutional clients.

Hong Kong

The Hong Kong office was established in 1994, followed by the launch of the retail fund management business in 2007. We also have a joint venture with Bank of China International for Hong Kong's mutual funds market and Mandatory Provident Fund.

Malaysia

Our Malaysian office was established in 2000. The local investment team manages equity, fixed income, multi asset, as well as Shariah-compliant strategies for individual and institutional clients. It is one of Malaysia’s largest asset management companies and has won multiple awards over the years.

Thailand

Eastspring Asset Management (Thailand) Company Limited became fully operational as an asset management firm in Thailand in July 2022, after the successful amalgamation of TMBAM Eastspring and Thanachart Fund Eastspring. Both of which had been operating in Thailand for more than two decades.

Taiwan

Since its establishment in 2000, the award-winning investment team in Taiwan has been managing strategies to meet the different needs of individual and institutional, including insurance clients. The team provides investment solutions across multiple asset classes and strategies, ranging from equities, fixed income, multi assets, as well as Fund of Funds.

Indonesia

Our Indonesian office was established in 2011. It is currently one of Indonesia’s largest asset management companies. The local investment team manages strategies across equities and bonds, as well as offers Syariah-compliant investment solutions for both individual and institutional clients.

Vietnam

Established in 2005, our office in Vietnam consists of a team of investment professionals with a strong track record of managing bonds, listed and unlisted stocks, as well as real estate. The team manages assets for individual and institutional investors both domestically and internationally.

Japan

Our Japanese sales office was established in 1999. It partners with banks as well as non-bank distributors to provide a wide range of funds for individual and institutional investors.

South Korea

Our Korean office was established in 2001 and has local investment capabilities in equities, bonds, derivatives and alternatives. The team, which has won many accolades over the years, also manages quantitative, multi asset, and Fund of Funds strategies for individual and institutional investors.

China

Our joint venture, CITIC-Prudential Asset Management Company Ltd, provides on-the-ground expertise and capabilities in equities, bonds, as well as quantitative and passive strategies for individual and institutional investors. In 2018, we established an investment management wholly foreign-owned enterprise (IM WFOE) to better serve professional investors, both in China and globally.

India

Our joint venture in India – ICICI Prudential Asset Management Company (AMC) Ltd – is a partnership between Prudential plc and ICICI Bank. ICICI Prudential AMC is one of India’s largest mutual fund companies and aims to provide simple and relevant investment solutions for both individual and institutional investors by investing across equities, fixed income, and real estate.

United States

Our US sales office in Chicago was set up in 2012 and focuses on helping institutional investors including pension funds and large family offices in the Americas diversify into Asia.

United Kingdom

The UK sales office, a branch of the Luxembourg entity, was set up in 2013 to better meet the needs of institutional and wholesale clients in Europe and the Middle East. The office also services the European offices of global and private banks that distribute our range of SICAV funds.

Luxembourg

Incorporated in 2012, our Luxembourg-based EU management company enables us to distribute Eastspring Investments’ funds to individual and institutional clients in Europe using the SICAV fund platform, capitalising on the increasing interest from global investors in the Asia growth story.
