As Head of Investments, Roy has more than 14 years of multi-asset investment experience across equities, fixed income, structured products and private markets.

Prior to joining Eastspring Al-Wara' Investments, Roy was Head of Investments, Private Banking at AmInvestment Bank, where he oversaw more than RM11 billion in assets under management across multiple asset classes. Before that, he was a Senior Fund Manager at Eastspring Al-Wara' Investments, managing institutional and retail mandates focused on Greater China, Asia ex-Japan and Malaysian equities, while also undertaking equity research responsibilities.

Earlier in his career, Roy was with Bank Negara Malaysia, where he managed European equity and fixed income portfolios within the Central Bank's foreign reserves team.

Roy holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Iowa State University, graduating summa cum laude, and is a CFA Charterholder;
